Defunding the bill does not however remove the usurption of power the feds will take through its enactments.

As with the 18th Amendment and its repeal with the 21th, we still live to this day with not only organized crime but powers given to the FBI and Justice Department that directly came from enforcing prohibition, not to mention the ATF.

We can defund but without full repeal we are still faced with the Government having these powers which can easily be pulled out the next time the country looses its mind and elects the Dems into power.

De-funding this healthcare monstrosity is an immediate measure that can be taken to stop it in its tracks. We must wait for a conservative President to take office in 2012 before it can be repealed permanently.
