Any thoughts?
Yes. WE need to be at the helm of the Republican Party so that we can begin to reverse A LOT of this stuff SOON! The current heads of the Republican Party still think that they are just engaged in a fun game of chess while the Democrat Socialists are waging a long term war.

RE: Having Liberals on Rush's radio program.
The LEFT are incredibly boring. They already have ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,MSNBC,etc. and fail miserably at holding an audience.

...the Democrat Socialists are waging a long term war. I'm sure that isn't a big surprise to a lot of folks, but I have to say that I have never realized this until very recently. I've been far too out of touch (i.e., having my head half buried in a bucket of sand) until now. In a lot of ways I have to say that I had more in common with the "country club Republicans" (even though I never belonged to a country club!) that I think are those that still look at this as the "fun game of chess" that you mention. I actually completely "tuned out" all things political after November 4, 2008 since I was so upset at the result. I stopped watching any TV news, tuned in sports talk radio only, and refused to discuss anything political with anyone. I happened to listen to Mark about a couple of months ago and hearing about what was going on with "healthcare" got me interested again.
So I've been doing some reading, especially from a historic perspective, and I have to say that I am stunned at how long ago this pot was put on the stove and kept at some level of boil over time.
