Tort reform is something to be considered for certain but at least in my state there seems to be effective tort reform because juries simply don’t make the big awards anymore the way they used to. Insurance companies now will admit liability for their client but offer a ridiculous lowball settlement and refuse to do any better without a long drawn out process because they know that people cannot depend on a huge jury award any longer.

There is a lot more I would say but I am not a physician and people would say I don’t know what I am talking about. Maybe I don’t but I have spent a lot of time researching medical matters and I will just say that I think we are being had in some areas. My practice now is to do everything I can to safeguard my own health. I think it very likely that my own careless habits brought on my diabetes and I am trying to defeat it by better habits. I have no real symptoms other than a slightly elevated blood sugar but I don’t want to sample the other symptoms.

Yes, I am trying to stay healthy too....eating better, exercise, etc. Sleep is my downfall....that’s important for good health too! Hope you can get your diabetes under control.
