We are retired military with a child who has an autism spectrum diagnosis. It was difficult to get OT and speech therapy for him under government medical care AKA Tricare. I wish all these people luck doing better. They will need it.

Thank you for your service. My sons didn’t talk until they were 3.5 years old.. with two years of intensive speech and ot they were able to enter traditional kindergarten classes, something we didn’t think they were going to be able to do... speech and ot are not tanigibles like medicine or blood tests and are easily dismissed as “extra”
