Hes running for U.S. Senate, but Republican Rand Paul helped organize a small rally Monday meant to boost opponents of U.S. Rep John Yarmuth, the Democrat who represents Kentuckys Third Congressional District.
John needs to come home, Paul, a Bowling Green ophthalmologist said to the about 50 people gathered outside Yarmuths Louisville office. Theres a tea party tidal wave sweeping across this country and we hope its going to sweep John Yarmuth out of office.
Tea party supporters who oppose health care reform were among those at the event outside the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville.
They included Sharon Stuecker and Elaine Flynn of Louisville, who said they had just returned from Washington where they joined people protesting against Sundays U.S. House vote to approve a sweeping overhaul of the nations health care system.
NOTE: John Yarmuth is the Kentucky Representative who claimed that Republican Senator Jim Bunning was "holding the country hostage" by insisting that unemployment benefits actually be paid for in the budget, as required by Congressional rules.
So, let's all join with Rand Paul in support of the Republicans running against Yarmuth!
Sharon Stuecker, Republican for Congress
Elaine Flynn, Republican for Congress
Jeff Reetz, Republican for Congress
Brooks Wilder, Republican for Congress
Sorry that I was only able to find a website for Jeff Reetz. Kentuckians who support other GOP candidates for the 3rd District, are of course welcome (and encouraged) to post additional websites and information about their preferred candidates for the benefit of other Kentucky FReepers!
More Kentucky US Senate news. Well, in this case, Kentucky US House news.
So let’s ask brother Rand...
Who is responsible for the 9/11 attack?
Can we ask him that?
Why? Because I'm interested in drumming up support for the REPUBLICANS in this race, not the Libertarian.
If anyone has a problem with that, I'd suggest that maybe their obsessive RonPaul Derangement Syndrome is blinding them to the need to elect Republicans.
We need to beat John Yarmuth in November, folks. Every House seat is going to count.
Rand is son of our beloved RON PAUL!!! He is LEADING in the race for Senator in Kentucky!!! as a TEA PARTY man. This is so awesome!!!
Yep. Muslims.
Does that answer your question?
We are going to need more good, solid Tea Party/Conservative team players like Rand Paul if we're going to beat the Dems in November.
You mean he isn’t a nutcase pacifist whack-job truther like his dad?
Have you stopped beating your wife yet?
Is Rand as goofy as his daddy?
Beloved by Muslims! He is a NUTCASE! As a rational person Paul is a TRUTHERTArD.
Well, his teenage fashion taste was a little goofy...
...but, at least he was keeping some pretty good company.
Nope.
As long as she thinks Paul is something other than a nutcase
and agrees with him that 9/11 was an inside job, I'll
continue to beat her senseless daily. Viciously.
Rand Paul is endorsed by:
Rand Paul is NOT endorsed by... "humblegunner".
Hmm. Gee, I think I'll stick with Sarah Palin's endorsement.
Well, then what happened to his daddy, because what I have seen of him makes me wonder if he is playing with a full deck.
You wanna help Rand, DON’T mention his nutcase dad. I’m willing to give Rand a chance and will assume he is his own man, until proven otherwise.
During the decades required to make Kentucky Derby Week a national attraction the Delta Queen graciously showed up to be annualy sandbagged by the Belle of Louisville.
She lent Louisville her dignity at no charge and literally brought hundreds of tourists to town with her.
Yarmuth took Louisvilles vote in congress to support his union bosses effort to condemn her to a slow ignoble death.
Yarmuth is scum.
Well, then, your wife is going to be very disappointed...
....when she finds out that Ron Paul doesn't think that "9/11 was an inside job".
(That's just a silly smear promulgated by obsessive Paul-haters. I'm sorry she fell for it).
Is the other guy as corrupt as his daddy?
(Shrugs). There's a lot of Republicans who don't like Ron Paul because of his Anti-War stands.
Rand Paul is a little more hawkish than his dad on some of these subjects, such as his support for the War in Afghanistan and his support for military tribunals at Gitmo.
Those are probably the two biggest Foreign Policy differences between the two.
