A call or email to a congressperson is a step up from this.
Actually going to the congresspersons office would be better.

Contributing time and money to one would be even better.

Being involved locally with your party better yet.

Running for office yourself another step up.

I hope that is the list of things you are doing, and not just typing typing typing.

Many of the tea party people people that sign petitions are doing some of those things you list and more also

Let's all help out in the way we thing will be them most effective!
