Hardly. The fight is far from over. People must stand up against this marxist, tyrannical, runaway government. Our founding fathers faced death by hanging from King George III while writing the Declaration of Independence but still forged ahead. Whatever sacrifice we make to preserve the Constitution will pale in comparison. They understood the necessity of throwing off the shackles of an oppressive regime. The passage below is a reminder from the founding fathers how the people have the final say as to how they will be governed.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. I am beginning to think those are just pretty words. I really don’t see how to get out of this mess without a war and that is going to be kind of difficult with our society as it is.
