Strange talk from a "patriot." In 1776, would you have said to your friends, "If you stop paying taxes, the king will send his soldiers to seize your crops, and if you join the rebellion you might get shot, too! If you get shot, antibiotics might save you but they won't be invented for almost two hundred years, so you can forget it."

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but income witholding started in 1940. Yes, business owners still pay quarterly, (if I have to explain why, forget it) but c’mon. Clearly it’s not like there isn’t a pattern there, do you suppose maybe government anticipated this whole “stop paying taxes” deal? I didn’t say I liked it, but I have always paid what taxes I owe, and try to avoid (NOT evade) the rest.
Don’t make yourself a target is all I’m saying.
