'Unconscionable'...that's how one Catholic group is reacting to Michigan Democrat Bart Stupak's decision to trust an executive order from President Obama which allegedly keeps federal dollars from paying for abortions.

Brian Burch, President of CatholicVote.org, says the President's executive order is a band-aid solution that fails to solve the fundamental problems in this bill, and can be repealed at any time.

I’ve been rummaging around in my little six-volt brain for a figure of speech that would accurately portray what Stupak did today. I think I found it.

“He bent awaaaaay over and grabbed his ankles......and he seemed anxious and happy to DO it!!!

Knowing that what goes around comes around, I shudder to think of what will come around to him, here or hereafter, when his bill comes due for all the aborted babies he helped slaughter.

My guess is that he will not have too many more nights. He has started a war against freedom.

Disagree. Bush lost the independents when he allowed the Dems to distort the truth and never revealed the Iraq Morrow Bldg connection...and he expected the economy to grow as it had been.

Obama sat on Stupak, and Stupak folded like a cheap seat.

I really don’t think that is the issue. Tell me the difference between abortion and thousands of babies dying right now in Africa or elsewhere?
The real issue is liberty and long term government control of our lives...whether we are living or dead.

angry at Stupak?
How about the USCCB who dealt with the Devil.
The Bishops backed ACORN and universal healthcare as a basic human right. THEY supported Obamacare and got burned and now THEY complain...too bad...live with it and don’t act pious the so called Princes of my Church.

I've just been to the web site of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Here is what I found:

Health Care for Life and for All

For decades, the United States Catholic bishops have actively supported universal health care. The Catholic Church teaches that health care is a basic human right, essential for human life and dignity. Our community of faith provides health care to millions, purchases health care for tens of thousands and addresses the failings of our health care system in our parishes, emergency rooms and shelters.

No way...they are staffed with ex-Dems and Lib staffers including ACORN...I am 55 and won’t waste my time.....just stand outside your church like I did and tell them what their money goes to....they can choose or not.

There are NO Catholic hospitals in Pittsburgh, PA
St. Margaret’s and Mercy sold out to UPMC.
The USCCB are fakes.
I can not afford, as a Roman Catholic, to send my kids to Catholic schools or to over priced Catholic colleges though both will gladly accept kids from my district with exceptional athletic skills while asking me to give toward Catholic education.
