I hold out hope and Stupak tells CNN he is still a no. (That said I'm not hearing from people in the know who are too optimistic at the moment.)

Can we get a commit for a FREAKING HUGE money bomb for if he holds his pack together and kills the bill? If NObama can drop millions for votes, why cant we drop millions to kill it?

I don’t believe him. He’s a stinking liar, like all the rest of them.

It is the reason why Idaho and Virginia have passed legislation blocking federal health care from being illegally imposed on the citizens of those states by reasserting their 10th Amendment rights and 34 other states considering similar legislation!

I'm just curious: what exactly do these states think they're going to do when the Federales just use the IRS to enforce their socialism? I mean, I appreciate the states trying to stand up for themselves, but I worry that it's just an empty gesture. How are they actually going to prevent the IRS from just confiscating our money?

Don’t give up yet. I worked for Stupaks first campaign when it was him or the pro-choice, gun control rino named Ziggler. My first and only dem I have every volenteered for. I know the man. He will not cave on abortion. He will go for Health Care (because he is a dem) if they remove the abortion funding. If the funding stays in, Bart will stay out and he will vote no to health care. My family and friends have given me lots of grief about helping to get him elected, I can only pray that God knew what was coming and has Bart there for this reason!

I have been wondering since Friday that all of this confusion and this vote here is yes, that vote there is no, was to confuse and keep the VOTERS out of the loop.

May God, the Lord of all heaven, help us this day, a day of the beginning of tyranny if the Left succeeds.

Congress has passed laws and the federal government has enforced many laws that regulate areas not granted to the federal government by the Constitution. They simply invoke the “commerce clause” and “general welfare” as justification for everything

Congress isn't the government! We the people are the government! Congress operates at the consent of the governed! The people have the final say as to how we will be governed! We've seen it for more than a year, especially this past week and today.

time for NRO to give up the absurd optimism.

It’s over.

Stupak appeared supportive of the non-binding, meaningless EO.

Thus, there is NO WAY his block will block the bill, no matter what he decides.

This is a done deal.

Now the fight goes to the Senate.

My prediction holds. Dems loose by two. That is coming from someone not in the know but still confident in America and our luck in life so far.

Once he packs the SC it won’t matter

Congress, the White House and SCOTUS are not the government! We the people are the government! Congress operates at the consent of the governed! The people have the final say as to how we will be governed! We've seen it for more than a year, especially this past week and today.

And just as Favre stabbed the Packers and the their fans in the back and signed with the Vikings, he’s about to stab pro lifers in the back and sign on to this.

Stay strong, Bart. Just vote no. Once the vote is over there’s nothing they can do to you. Pelosi will be out as Speaker by November. All those who voted yes and tried to pressure you will be gone. The WH won’t come after you. Just a few hours, vote no, and walk away. It’ll be ok.

This guy Stupak is the Brett Favre of the House. He’s in, he’s out, he’s doing the hokey-pokey and he’s shaking it all about.

Haven't you guys figure it out? Some leftist loon sees it TWIT'ered or he TWITs it, and all of a sudden it's true? The media will put out lies incessantly at critical moments to support their agenda.

As mentioned before ...if this passes the states are next to fight this and the courts seem to be on the side lines waiting as well....if these fail then we all may be singing a different tune..but they must have opportunity to acton the peoples behalf...and we need to give them that.

Yeah? How? Are these 20,000,000 conservatives willing to quit their jobs and starve? You can't get around the IRS confiscatory withholdings. You can play games with exemptions but that won't make any difference in the long run.

Until we've got tens of millions of Americans who are able, willing, and ready to go on national strike, quit their jobs, and shut down the economy for six months or longer, nothing is going to change.
