I am a business owner in Sanchez’s district. I called her office on Friday to register my disapproval of the bill. I asked her spokesperson which side the Congresswoman was coming down on. I was told she had not made her mind up yet. She wants to wait until the last minute to make sure she is doing right by her district. I responded that business is bad in her district and what is needed is pro business policies to improve business conditions and hence, jobs. Government takeover of healthcare would make things worse, I told her. I asked which way the calls to the office were going. I was told that calls were even. We’ll know tomorrow which way Loretta is going to go. By the way, it is true that a strong Republican from the Viet Namese community will give her a run in the fall, especially if she walks the plank for Pelosi and Obama.
The Hill is still saying she may not make it for the vote.
