Sure, he could. But then the next POTUS could reverse it. That’s assuming he doesn’t *deem* himself The Kenyan King of America for life.

Stupak wants this bill. He will fold like a cheap house of cards.

Course he wants this bill.  On the basis of the single-payer option being in the bill.  This pro-life stance of his is foolish nonsense, its a political cover.

Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not grant Congress the power to regulate health care.

These people ignore the Constitution when it suits them and they hold it up in reverence when it suits them. I have ZERO (no pun intended) faith that the SCOTUS will uphold anything regarding Article 1, Section 8 as it pertains to this health control boondoggle. See the Kelo decision for one example and there are many, many more.

I agree. It is precisely the reason why it is incumbent upon the people to uphold the Constitution.

Do you think the Supreme Court would overturn it?

My guess would be they wouldn’t even hear the case. I’m in a bad mood today so I can’t be responsible for my thoughts.

That’s one reason why I was reluctant to call congress-critters - I didn’t think I could be civil.
