I hope this analysis is correct. But it reminds me of pundits claiming there was no way Obama was going to win Ohio.

Fox said they have 218. I hope that’s wrong.

However, with dropping deem and pass, a win for them is MUCH more likely.

We have been scammed! This recent episode of Congress passing Healthcare Reform has been a vast manipulation of events by the Democratic Party with the active aid of the Media. This pretense by Democrats of difficulty passing a bill, when they have overwhelming numbers in the United States House of Representatives, is a way to pretend President Barack Obama has achieved some kind of great victory. Obama’s poll numbers have been dropping and there have been no achievements in his first year as President, So the Democrats dreamt up a plan to pretend how hard it is to be President and how difficult it is too pass a bill in Congress. The Democratic Party along with their allies in the media knew the outcome; but by building up the suspense, having Obama cancel his planned trips, they hope to enhance the political value of passing the Healthcare Bill.

In order to have a win they intentionally divided the country into two opposing groups and now with a bare majority in the U.S. Senate they intend to make major changes to our Country and in the process impose their will on anyone who disagrees with them. There is a reason why the necessity of super majorities was enshrined in Senate rules. Routine business should be passed with simple majorities but whenever government tries to impose major changes on an opposing group the bill should have overwhelming support in congress and throughout the Country.

Even such necessary major changes as the elimination of slavery or civil rights legislation were accomplished because an overwhelming majority came together to pass Constitutional Amendments or to pass legislation. When a bare Congressional majority attempts to impose major changes, even in the face of opposition by a majority of the citizens; it breeds cynicism, distrust and contempt for our government and the officials who pretend to represent us. Even if you believe that Obama Care will dramatically improve healthcare, the way it was accomplished caused significant harm to the country as a whole. But then for Democrats the chance to claim a win trumps any real concern for the good of the country.

Just got word from a tea partier as they are breaking up.

This morning he said the mood was it will pass and everyone was resigned to it. I said that is what they want us all to think so we give up.

Now he says they are still talking loud and fast and he believes they do not have the votes because if they did they would not be talking still.

KEEP THE CALLS UP! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE

Hold your own street protest in front of your reps local offices. Or busy street corners. Try and get the local media to cover it. Hammer the Medicare/SS issue, nothing like mad grannies and gramps.

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Mail must be inspected for anthrax takes 2 weeks, so if you snail mail send a post card

CODE RED Contact list http://www.nrcc.org/CodeRed/targets/
Remember they are all being offered BRIBES for their votes. Ask them how much their bribe price is.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Sunday March 21st.

Good idea from the bloggers at Hillbuzz:

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

Marion Berry (D., Ark.) (GOP +8) — pro-Stupak Amendment

He will vote with Pelosi. He didn't have the guts to stand up to her when she and her minions wanted him to retire..

"Arkansas Rep. Marion Berry to retire"

When I called last week his office was so rude it was clear how he was voting even though he claimed he hadn't decided.

Looks like Lipinski and Michaud are the most vulnerable to switching to “yes”, or maybe they already have.

My cousin who is in Ike Skelton’s district is now telling me that on the Lebanon Daily Record blog that he’s now a no. She told me that he changes with the wind, really old fart who is absolutely hiding from his constituents, but used be the man about town, willing to talk to anyone about anything. Now, he’s tried to go with the national party, but his constituents are really pissed.

Stupak should vote no knowing that he’s doing the right thing concerning the abortion funding issue and, setting that aside, he’s doing his constituents and all America a favor because it’s a lousy bill, it’s a fraud, something much better can be done and he can author it if he likes, and the American public are AGAINST it by about 2 to 1.
