Of course they do. They just grabbed the full power of the land. They absolutely know what they just did. Entitlements will assure them the votes for ever. Of course they know what they just did. Full well! That was the purpose all along. Like Stalin said - paraphrasing - something like: if you can install nationalize healthcare you get the power over the people and...done. That's it.
