Hi MOM, not sure if anyone responded on “revise and extend”...
ALL proceedings of the House and Senate are published for public review in the FEDERAL REGISTER.
What they mean with “revise and extend” is since they are limited by time to speak on the floor, they can put the full text of what they wanted to say into the Federal Register.
Correct me if I'm wrong but they can also edit the Register to "correct" mistakes.
In other words an unscrupulous type can say one thing and have something totally different in the record.
Thanks
