Someone was talking about that and it seems on a solid up or down vote by walking out they are listed during the voting period as present. After the vote, if there is not a majority win, the Speaker decides into which category the votes get placed into - which would obviously be for the bill in this case.
That is another lovely “rule” Slaughter is making sure gets upheld at all costs.
