I don’t want to derail the thread, but if Ryan is the 2012 nominee, I don’t want Palin on the ticket. Whether people here want to acknowledge it or not, Palin has already been defined by the 20% in the middle back in 2008.

For the GOP/Tea Party to re-take this thing, we need to completely cut ties with everything and anything from 2009 and before. All of it has to go.

Ryan can campaign with a clean slate bring in the middle in droves, while at the same time voting/supporting pretty much everything a Palin would support.

Didn’t Ryan already say he wouldn’t run in ‘12? But wouldn’t he be a catch of a veep if our nominee could get him?
