I have asked before - but not gotten a reply:
On this ‘insurance companies will be required to insure those with a pre-existing condition’ part of the bill.....
Does anyone know if there will be a restriction on what the insurance companies will CHARGE those with pre-existing conditions?
I have a sneaking suspicion that those with pre-existing conditions will be required (by insurance companies) to pay through the nose, like $10,000 a month or more!
And, they can say “We are REQUIRED by the government to insure EVERYBODY - but nothing is on the books telling us what we can or can’t charge them!”
(I ask, because my son cannot get insurance, because of pre-existing back problems.)
Bingo. There's the rub, right there. Prepare to pay through the nose for any coverage (and they don't say what KIND of insurance)
I would love to get my hands on that one page document stating why this bill isn't unconstitutional.
OMG - here comes Patches. Didn't take long for the ghost of ted kennedy to rear it's ugly head in the chamber.
He's shaking. Look at his hands - either needs a drink or an Ambien.
