IOW, she respected Jesus’ place of authority and position as being sent to the Jews, yet appealed to Him on those very grounds... that she would not ‘take’/steal what Jesus could give, but that Jesus could give more than they could take/’want’.

Anyhow, at most this isn't urging the Christian to make his NEIGHBOR take care of the stranger. This is urging the Christian himself to do what he personally can.
