I don’t mean to offend, but praying to George Washington is nothing short of idolatry.
Assuming you are sincerely religious and have a respect for scripture, go read II Kings and see what happens to a nation that turns to someone other than Jehovah.
Praying to dead men (or women) is wrong, wrong, wrong. And our country desperately needs divine intervention from the one true God right now.
