Gaining weight are you? UGH. I have been eating non-stop. Comfort food. I weighed at the doctor’s on Wednesday. No damage, but I’m done a lot of eating since then and I intend to eat all the ice cream and hot fudge sauce today!
Hah- me too...in fact- I’m going to run out to Dunkin Donuts shortly for blueberry muffins..before the government tells me blueberry muffins are unhealthy and bans them.

I'm an ice cream & Hershey's syrup person myself. If I am in deep need of comfort food, it is chocolate syrup on chocolate ice cream. Not ordinary chocolate...Dutch chocolate.
there is a fact that carbs—comfort food- do increase your hormones that offset depression and anxiety.

Having said that, my efforts to take care of myself this last week have given way (er, weigh ha) to bags of chips!
