Anyway, I don't see how action taken by the House regarding promises by the President can affect the wording of legislation approved by the Senate without the Senate voting on it.
IOW, they seem to be making a complete hash of this thing.
Now, when it gets to the SCOTUS and should the SCOTUS say the a presidents EO can be made part of law without a complete vote, well, I guess we are stuck for a little bit.
But they are putting what they hope to be a major social change on a pretty shaky foundation.

If this travesty passes, life is going to get harder. We have to keep pointing out why.
