I hate writing this. I try to be analytical and calm, and the vast majority of the time I succeed.

However, this one by one vote counting or projecting, is giving me nervous fits when at the same time I saw what I saw before going to bed last night.

I’m up now, and here’s what I saw and heard that tells me Republicans believe this will pass. Last night Geraldo asked Darrell Issa if he believes this will pass. Issa said without doubt he believes it will.

Brutal honesty.

Now, what else did I see that buttresses Issa?. On the House Floor Republicans did a special order. Judge Louis Gomert of Texas and some others. You could tell these men were trying very hard to hope, but defeat was written on their faces, heard in their voices and shown in their body language.

I, too, will pray and hope. However, I am prepared to see it pass.

May God help us.

I pray this does not pass but realize it may. Don’t lose hope though - if it does pass today is only the beginning of the fight, the war is far from over.

How many states are planning to sue over this? 38 was the last count I saw - more will join as citizens demand their rights and protections.

How many groups will sue over this bill, both conservative and liberal? Lawsuits are already written waiting to be filed, some of the greatest legal minds in this nation have said this bill is unconstitutional on so many levels that the courts will have to become involved. Many of those great minds are behind the suits awaiting passage of this bill so they can file.

Last but not least and something we should do if this passes or not; we have our own states we can work through. The Constitution allows for 2/3 of the States to propose a Constitutional Amendment both the House and Senate must accept it and send it to the States for passage (they do not get a say) from there 3/4 of the States must pass the Amendment and it’s done.

Our governors, our state legislatures, our attorney generals know three things.

1. Citizens are overwhelmingly against this bill, upwards of 80% and will demand (and are demanding) their states protect them and fight against a unconstitutional power grab by the feds and a despot President.

2. This bill will bankrupt citizens of the States and the State itself within months. Doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, medical supply companies etc will be forced out of business or simply choose to leave; this will be devastating to the States economically and for unemployment. It is not a stretch to believe people will resort to violence as their anger takes over. The States will have to not only protect the interest of the State, they will be forced to protect We The People.

3. It is much easier for Citizens to target Local/State legislatures then the feds. They must live in the State, they can’t hide in DC, on top of that their own families are forced into Obama DeathCare just like we are, they will want as much protection as we do. There are so many reasons for our State officials to do everything, up to and including succession, to protect their citizens.

I pray the USSC will quickly rule this bill unconstitutional either in full, or in part. Either way it gives us time to elect into office those whose first act will be to override any remains of this bill. Repeal, investigate, impeach should be on the lips of anyone who plans on running for office - we demand nothing less.

I fully believe this bill has the potential of pushing this country into Civil War II; and while I do not want to see that happen, it may be the only option left for us to secure our liberties and rid ourselves of an out of control tyrannical Government. We owe it to our children and grandchildren to fight for them - not to sit back leaving them in bondage. “We” made the mistake of electing these criminals into office, we have the responsibility to clean up the mess.

They may pass it today, but if Obama believes that will be the end of it, he has a big surprise coming!

God Bless!!!

I think we’re all prepared to see it pass, but we fight on (call, pray and email), but by God, we fight on, no matter what.

God bless all of us and all who stand for us.

God save our Republic.

Pray!

We just keep fighting.
We never give up.

Those fools will regret what they have done.
We WILL stop them!

Update 3-21, 10:10 AM (from MacAoidh): I’m working on a piece for the front page (I’ll post a link here when it’s done) which discusses reasons why the assumption of inevitability that Obamacare once enacted will continue to grow is false. As said many times elsewhere, this would be the first social legislation of major scale to be enacted without bipartisan support, and it’s also the first time the majority which would enact such legislation would be likely to be turned out of office immediately thereafter. There are other reasons why this one is different, and I’ll get into those, plus expand on the above, in the piece I’m working on for later today.
