Agree. This “deeming” b.s. sounds a lot like a lying four year old trying to manipulate his way into eating cake for lunch.
THey’ll reply it’s been done in the past by Republicans as well as democrats.
The proper response is yes, for overwhelmingly popular issues, and for resolutions, not landmark legislation that changes the nature of the country. Not for legislation the American people overwhelming oppose. Not for legislation or resolutions that didn’t enjoy broad support of both republicans and democrats.
