You tell us. You get all bent out of shape about a priori beliefs when we tell you the truth.
FWIW, scientists do exactly what you condemn us for. Treat as fact things that aren't and presume as true things that can't be verified.
Science is full of unprovable a priori beliefs upon which scientists use science.
Naturalistic materialism being the main one.
Treating evolution as a fact is another.
Why is that truth?
[scientists] Treat as fact things that aren't and presume as true things that can't be verified.
Like what? Last time I checked, scientists propose theories, which are then subjected to rigorous tests Until proven they remain theories.
No one calls them facts. You are dreaming. Evolution is based on veidence. Drug reistence and new strains of flue are good exmaples of adaptive survival through mutation.
Religion is like a theory but a priori accepted as "truth." I relies on magical tales which have no counterpart in the real world. I know that it gives comfort to many, which is good, but it is not a source of verifiable or dependanble knowledge.
Science is full of unprovable a priori beliefs upon which scientists use science. Naturalistic materialism...
As opposed to what? "Unnaturalistic" materialism? Or 'naturalistic immaterialism?" LOL! What is "naturalistic materialism?" Which sicentist uses this term?
Treating evolution as a fact is another.
Evolution is not an a priori belief. That is obvious to anyone even remotely familiar with the work that went into it.
