Boccieri doesn’t have the luxury of a totally looney district like Kucinich has. Boccieri will pay for this with his job. I hope he’s ok with that?

Meh, it’s not what you know it’s who you know. This will guarantee he gets a cushy job somewhere within the Democratic establishment (government, lobby firm, made up job somewhere just to pay him off, etc, etc) - probably one that will pay much more and without so much public scrutiny.

The problem is, Boccieri was likely going to lose anyway. So he figured there's no use pretending any more.

Charlie Wilson, though, may think he can skate by.
