Stupak: Health fight has been 'living hell’ (Idiot should have never voted YES first time!)

Leading a revolt against President Barack Obama’s healthcare legislation over abortion has been a “living hell” for Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.).

The telephone lines in his Washington and district offices have been “jammed” and he’s gotten more than 1,500 faxes and countless e-mails — most of which he says don’t come from his constituents.

The fight has taken a toll on his wife, who has disconnected the phone in their home to avoid harassment.

“All the phones are unplugged at our house — tired of the obscene calls and threats. She won’t watch TV,” Stupak said during an hourlong interview with The Hill in his Rayburn office. “People saying they’re going to spit on you and all this. That’s just not fun.”

Stupak has become a nationally known figure because of his demands for tough language in healthcare legislation to prevent any federal subsidies from being used for abortion services.

Stupak has stood stong with us. It is the left that are sending him death threats. I would not be surprised if he switched parties before this is all over.

Stupak will stab you in the back this weekend by voting for the abortion-laden Obama health-tax bill.

Stupak is not principled, if you read the article he states that what he would like is if the bill passes without his vote.

Meaning, of course, that he is okay with abortion funding.

He is very sleazy, I will blast him continuously.

Certainly not as bad as the abortion itself.

The house bill didn’t have the abortion portion, that came from the senate if I am not mistaken.

It’s no excuse since the bill is horrible, but since he’s prolife that’s his concern.

...and as an advertised possible "NO" vote Mr. Stupak, members of which party do you think are making these calls?

Oh my gosh, he is a leftist!! For cryin out loud! This abortion stuff, he doesn't believe it. I've been to his town halls and called his office and listened to interviews he thinks his vast tundra of a district wouldn't know about--And, if you read the article, he says himself that he wishes the bill to pass without his vote--THAT MEANS HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ABORTION FUNDING.

He wants the bill, he has said so on many occasions, this is posturing and he makes me sick.

There ain't no way in hell he would ever change parties.

If he and the other 12 so-called Anti-Abortion Rats had any courage they would tell Pelosi to F-Off then start caucusing with the GOP. They would never do that considering they vote the other 99% with the Libtards.

Very sorry to hear about the Planned Parenthood funding. I was not aware of that. I just have been impressed that he seems to be a pro-life dem who actually stands up for his beliefs rather than letting himself be bought off like Ben Nelson did.
