Not surprising there is a large overhead.
“And after claiming in written letters to donors that 100% of the money donated, via the Freedom Concerts or otherwise, to the scholarships would go directly to the scholarships and not to expenses, the Freedom Alliance decided to do the contrary and charge expenses anywaycharging a whopping $436,386 to give out $802,250 in scholarships. That means that 35% of the $1,238,636all of which was supposed to go to scholarships for these kids of the fallenwent to Freedom Alliance.”

What is wrong with my head? Thanks for the reasoned discourse. Now ask yourself the obvious question: Are the concerts on the books of the Freedom Alliance, or are they on the books of Hannity. I’ll give you a hint: go for the second option.
If there is a problem with Freedom Alliance, it is not because of the cost of concerts.

I see your point. Probably not good to feed the trolls.

Schussel has become a nut...she is pissed at Sean over some Jewish issue they had tween them and so she does the Bitch Scorched Earth thing she is famous for.
I would be very wary of her and I used to like her.

Pages 39+ of
Freedom Alliance's 2008 Tax Return show how much was donated as scholarships to various universities and then to individual soldiers.
Considering FA pulls in $8~10M per year, and touts itself as providing scholarships to the children of fallen soldiers, the amounts paid out do seem very paltry.
Debbie's on to something here.

No charity claims 100% of proceeds goes to the target recipients... it is always 100% of NET proceeds. There are costs involved with raising money.

If you don’t feel the NET proceeds of your ticket price to hear a concert is ENOUGH to support the cause, you are FREE to donate a TARGETED DONATION to the program of your choice that is administered by Freedom Alliance. You of course already knew that, since you are on the board of a non-profit.

How many of these children are of college age? Many of those fighting and dying for our country are in their late teens and early twenties. Their children are not yet of college age. The money is in TRUST for them.

Sean, you'd better explain this. I've defended you for YEARS on FR. I always thought you were important to our fight. This looks really bad. Please explain.

I concur. Debbie should come clean and share with us all how much she has raised for charity. How much has Debbie done for our troops and their families?

Sorry, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Doesn’t have anything to do with what I posted. I’m off to bed, so won’t try to restate my point. G’night.

Are you Hannity’s late night FR stand-in?

Why didnt this Mole write something about Obama?
Instead, she goes after Hannity and North??? On the Eve of Obama, Reid and Pelosis actions which are grounds for impeachment?
This troll of a woman is NOT a Conservative. That is obvious with her timely hit piece. Dems are in obvious disarray with this transparent plant.

Fundraising Efficiency $0.09 (Amount a charity spends to raise $1 - lower is better) Didn't Schlussel say that this meant only $0.09 of each dollar goes to the charity? Well, she was dead wrong on that so far.

"The deal here is not that Hannity is dishonest. I certainly have no reason to believe he has made a penny from this. But when only about $3 out of $48 over the last several years has made it to the target group, you wonder about the good will of those who are running the show. As one person put it, people bought a concert and they got a concert. But I would like to think that more than $0.06 of each of my dollars were on target, rather than paying professional sound, light, and venue people."
You posted earlier that you would like to see more money going to the charity. You can do that voluntarily.
