Will you co-sponsor bills in support of the FairTax and the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment?
I would love to tell you that I support the flat tax, but I do not. In a District like the 51st, it will absolutely devastate the community. Also, the flat tax will produce tax revenue than the current system. I believe balancing the budget, and paying off the debt is a bigger priority. Down the road, after that is accomplished, I would revisit this issue because I am not against the flat tax on principal, just the effect.
