If the abort language is taken out it has to go back to the Senate and they can't play the reconciliation games.

I don't think such a policy change is allowed in a reconciliation bill. But if they convince "pro life dems" that it is possible, the senate bill can pass. That's all the Dem leaders care about.

That won’t work because that would mean changing the Senate Bill, which would mean it goes back to the Senate and that is exactly what the Democrats are trying to avoid at all costs.
