There are questions about Palin that are unanswered yet. Like where does she stand on immigration? I did some searching on that and came away that she is somewhat a little Huckabeeish on that because she says she hates that families of the illegals get broken up. She has said she is for a pathway if they get behind the ones coming in legally first. Like that is going to happen. She has made no definitive statement like she is for CIR, nor has she said she is against it. It hasn’t been asked of her a lot. It will be found out soon, especially if immigration comes up next. She will have to make her postion known. If it should be like McCain, look out.
I like my Congressman Pence. On this issue of immigration he came up with the most cockammie ideas I have ever heard. So thats a negative on him with me. I give none of them any freebies. That is why we have primaries.
We have some time until people throw their hat in the ring. The only two we presume to be entering at the moment is Romney and Palin.
There is no campaign yet, so I am going to watch them and keep in mind the pros and cons of all of the potentials. I remember when everyone thought Mark Sanford would be great, and you know how that turned out.
Much can happen over the next year. Obama may not be more than a one termer. Then who will be the major opposition? Could really change the scheme of things.
AS for Palin, her post VP stuff about immigration is good with me. Hard to find on FR through all the repetitive posts from Univision.
