Poor census response feared
Buffalo News ^ | 03/15/2010 | Jay Rey

A decennial tradition that dates back 220 years to the days of George Washington continues today when federal census forms start arriving at more than 120 million households across the United States.

But hanging over this 23rd U.S. census are concerns about a decline in participation.

While the U.S. census has always evoked some resentment toward the feds for poking their nose into people's business, there's a sense that America's distrust of the government has reached greater heights and could contribute to poor census returns.

The biggest problem is that most local sheriffs and LEOs don't realize that they have jurisdiction within their own boundaries.

They've been dumbed down and cowed by the Feds for too long.

Arapio might be the exception that shows the rest of the country how it should be run.

>>Everyone remember - your race is “Other: American”.

>I understand what you are trying to say, but, if I’m not mistaken...American is a Nationality not a race.

Exactly...similar to African-American

"I dont think those little signs count when its a reprsentative of the federal government."

And then...

"Hey dopey..did it ever occur to you that this isnt my first account here?"

And with that I think, dude, just hung his own sign...

Why do that to yourself, New Yawk Minute?

“Why do that to yourself, New Yawk Minute?”

He can’t help it, because in a NY minute everything can change.

Including his willingness to stay and defend himself...

That will be where the rubber hits the road, won't it? They may not want to get involved because these are 'fed' workers, but I'll let them know (I'll probably see them Thursday night at a banquet) that if they don't want to act, then it's up to me...

Why defend himself?
This isn’t his first handle (post 110), so he’ll just generate another one.

__Owned by you or someone in this household free and clear (without a mortgage or loan)?

No, you lost it in the lake during that boating accident, remember?

Why defend himself?

This isn’t his first handle (post 110), so he’ll just generate another one.

He was pretty petulant for awhile, after telling me I was attacking the person instead of arguing the case. Then what does he do? Begins attacking everyone himself. Then he cuts out in post #130, not to return after repeated inquiries by you and Eaker. I'm beginning to believe we've really run one to ground...

He’ll wait until the heat is off, i.e. we all go to bed, and he’ll slink back.
Or, as postulated, he’ll just burn a new handle.
