I mailed ours in a couple of weeks ago with just a number. I’m now waiting for the knock on the door. That’s all they’ll get out of me.

“Rush says just put “ American” where they ask the race!!!!! I will fill mine out limited!! VERY LIMITED!”

We plan to limit our information as well. For RACE, I intend to put HUMAN.

There was no citizenship question in 2000, and I don’t know that there ever has been.

You are correct, citizenship has NEVER been collected by the census.

I’ll tell them how many people live at my address and that is ALL.

Isn't that all that is required?

“The census does not count citizens. It counts all people. Always has. It used to list country of origin, etc.”

I forgot about the 2/3 rule and slaves. Not a nice time in our past history. It was a case of the Southern states wanting to have more representation because they weren’t as heavily populated. In a sense (I’m not endorsing such thought) slaves were like having dependent children which are counted.

Whatever, I have no problem with them counting everyone (citizen or not...legal or not) for distribution of federal monies, but I ONLY think that the number of U.S. Citizens (not even legal aliens) should count in the determination of congressional representation. So, the census “should” be to determine the total population and more importantly the population of U.S. citizens to determine congressional districts.

The census is solely designed to profile pockets of specific ethnicity's so they can be targeted for specific giveaway programs designed to buy votes .

If I get another 30 page census form(like 1990), it's gonna be used to start my first trash fire of the season!

Yeah. I see your point. I didn’t matter so much before non-citizens were allowed to vote. /sarcam, not much>

Nope, it’s based on the population, not citizenship.

Get the book "How the Obama Administration Threatens To Undermine Our Elections" by columnist John Fund from WSJ.
Tells you all about the game they are playing with the Census and why GOP Sen. Judd Gregg withdrew his nomination to head the Department of Commerce.

Declaration To Make To Census Takers

“I hereby affirm that the provisions of Title 13 ``requiring’’ me to disclose my race, personal financial data, birthdate, or any other personal, private information to the Bureau of the Census, an agency of the United States government; constitutes an unreasonable, unwarranted search of my person, house, papers, and/or effects; and a governmental invasion of the sanctity of my home and the privacies of life. As such, these provisions violate the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution, and are thus wholly void and I am not bound to obey them.

I have completed the only those sections of the Census form pertaining to the Constitutionally-mandated actual enumeration, as follows:

1. The actual number of people living at the address printed on the form, excluding untaxed Native Americans;
2. Age of each person in accordance with US Const. Amendment XIV, Section 2.
3. Sex of each person, in accordance with US Const. Amendment XIV, Section 2.

I have thus fulfilled my obligation to the attainment of the actual enumeration of the populace of the United States.

Any fine or other sanction that is levied by any office or organization stemming from the unconstitutional provisions of Title 13 in connection with my response to this or any other Census-related questioning will be challenged in a court of law.”

Hasn’t anyone noticed the BAR CODE affixed to the return part of the census? What do you suppose that’s for? Right, to connect all of your dots!! This census isn’t about money, votes, or what the Constitution says we can or cannot do; It’s about “marking” our data and tying all of our personal information together in Big Brother’s computer. It’s about tracking us and our personal affairs.
Question: IF the census is used to determine how to dole out OUR tax money; what do they use to determine that the ten years in between the census?
I salute all of you that have opted to just throw your census form away, as I did the minute I saw the bar code. The last census, in 2000, was like a notebook with some pretty intrusive questions, I threw it away too. The census taker came back to my house 3 times, trying to question me. I took her by the arm and showed her my NO TRESPASSING sign and told her if she came back I would have her arrested for trespassing. She never came back.
Another question: I received my census form a couple of weeks ago, addressed to “Household” at ...and then my street address. Today I got a nasty post card, addressed to “Resident” at...and my street address. How do you suppose they KNEW I hadn’t returned my census form???? I believe it’s the bar code!! It scares the hell out of me that’s for sure! You only need to answer ONE question and the bar code ties your answer to the rest of your personal information that’s already stored in big brother’s computer. It’s more efficient if you have all of the humans “MARKED!” It may not be exactly 666, but, it’s a tracking device just the same. They have micro chips to track your animals, why would anyone think they couldn’t do the same with people?
That’s my two cents worth!
