The Israelis use behavior profiling, which is not widely advocated around here. Mostly, you read posts about banning or profiling Muslims....which is comical, because Muslim is not discernible by sight.
Uh, the Israelis also use racial profiling of El Al passengers which is not comical in any way, and has proven to be highly effective. They’re looking for ay-rabs who are quite discernible by sight.
“Muslim is not discernible by sight...”
Easy to solve. Require everyone to “pat the dog.”
They may refuse, if they like, but there is your profile.
