I adore Clarence Thomas, but I’ve had misgivings about his wife. She is a former member of CAN (Cult Awareness Network) and CAN psychiatrist Margaret Singer (horrible, horrible woman on a par with Nancy Pelosi) was all over the TV networks pushing for an invasion at the Waco compound. We all know how that turned out. (I’m just saying...)

Ya know, I'm pretty sure pedophilic Davie Koresh qualified for a "Tyranny over the minds of men" award.

Been there...

So screw Koresh, McVeigh, and any other Wacko anti-American religiously motivated terrorist Useful Idiot who wants to climb under the police-state-enabling bus with them.

It's ironic David Koresh's antics have enabled an expansion of the very police powers he claimed he was protecting himself, and his followers, from; government, the fear of which, Koresh exploited to herd, corral, and sequester those hiding cult members.   Likewise, Timothy McVeigh accomplished nothing but a new and improved OKC Federal Building and an increased acceptance among the sheeple for more government police powers.

Koresh, McVeigh, Charles Manson - did ANY of these CULTS result in a net loss in the government's police powers, or its willingness to abuse those power?  Nope, all they did, via their own actions, was create fearful reasons to rationalize a yet further increase in the powers of the thing, the government, they feared;  Fear those so inclined who come after then exploit for their own purposes... and so it goes - around and around until the government bureaucratic pyramid becomes so large that it crushes and consumes everything beneath it.

The Tea Party is a movement toward dusting off and embracing the American First Principles.  The principles in which governance, rather than being exploited as a thing to be feared - is RESTORED to an instrument of LAW, instituted by the governed to effect the security of their own, inalienable rights.

It's a Republic - not a CULT.

Would the inertia toward police-state have been increased, as it HAS, if Koresh & Co. had SIMPLY FOLLOWED THE LAW?
