That was a saying back then, prosperity was “just around the corner”. It even found its way into a song that was in a cartoon short (prob by Warner Bros.) in theaters at the time; a hobo flea was singing (better times were) “just around the corner, just around the corner, just around the corner from me” and I think that saying was what it came from.
I think it was a saying of Hoover’s
Oh, here it is, only he’s singing “oh there’s food around the corner, food around the corner, food around the corner for me”
