Actually it's you that has the wrong terminology. Preterism which insists that every prophecy and promise in the NT was fulfilled by a.d. 70 denies the second coming, physical resurrection of believers at the end of history, and denies the physical renewal/re-creation of the present heavens and earth (or their replacement by a new heaven and earth).
However, partical preterists who (rightly) insist that the events mentioned are still future.
So if you want to argue the preterists point of view make sure you understand between the two viewpoints.
