PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd says he sympathises with US President Barack Obama's decision to delay his visit to Australia for three days.
Mr Rudd, in Brisbane for talks with Queensland Premier Anna Bligh on the Government's health reform agenda, said Mr Obama had his own problems with health reform.
President Obama was set to visit Canberra for an address to Parliament on March 23, although full details of his trip had not been released.
He was also scheduled to visit Guam and Indonesia, accompanied by his wife and children.

Obama Delays Indonesia Trip By Three Days, Wife, Daughters Will Not Come

“Obama’s press secretary Robert Gibbs made the announcement on his Twitter feed, saying the president’s wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha, will no longer accompany him on the poignant journey.
“The president will delay leaving for Indonesia and Australia - will now leave Sunday [March 21] - the First Lady and the girls will not be on the trip,” Gibbs wrote, just a day after saying the visit would not be delayed.
