One of the few conservative bastions.
Texas has been ‘blessed’ many times in the last day or two. Many of us have uttered those words - “God Bless Texas”.
I have worked in elementary and middle schools in Texas, and the quandary always arose: How do you teach the story of the Alamo, and imbue the students with the sense of sacrifice and honor of the martyrs there in their fight against the (Mexican) forces of oppression and injustice, when most of your students are Illegal aliens or the offspring of illegal aliens?
