She is still stuck at 198-201 and this thing will ice ball vote time, I think it loses by 50 votes if she calls a vote and doesn't have them in the bag. I cant see her calling a vote and losing, it would be humiliating and fatal to Odumbo. The smart play was to scrap it, go back and rewrite, Brown, Snowe and other would just love to fellate Obama and work on a new bill. Obama has made a fatal tactical error, and Alinsky must be twinging in hell.."No man, it's about going slowly, nuance boy, nuance"

I hate them too and am going to enjoy watching them get crushed in November. What I am really going to enjoy is the aftermath which will include criminal investigations, indictments, congressional hearings, trials and jail time for many of these bozos which will be popularly supported.

Agreed. They could have scrapped it and done a new bill after the "Health Care Summit". Threw a few bones to certain RINOs and walah, passed a lot of what they want. It was his vanity that kept him from doing this. I think it comes down to something as simple as that.

If Nanzi pushes a vote on this and it FAILS, she will be forced out as Speaker before November. Guaranteed. If it fails by a wide margin, there will be an immediate insurrection against her over the next week, culminating in an uncerimonious demotion.

I believe you are correct, counterpunch, Hoyer is probably measuring the windows in the Speaker’s office for new curtains right now.

Like we were all looking forward to seeing the Clintons in orange jump suits? It ain’t gonna’ happen. The GOP has turned into the party of Rodney “Can’t we all just get along” King.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Islamabama doesn’t declare martial law in November and suspend all elections. They’ve definitely got something up their sleeves. I can’t see these people doing anything to lose their power. They must have been assured by “him” that everything will be okay.

Unlikely. Hoyer is almost as culpable as Pelousy.
Most of the top leadership’s political fates rest on passing 0bamaCare.
It’s why they’ve all doubled down (including 0bama.)

But rank and file Democrats’ political fates depend on the exact opposite.
So the question now is, will they all fall on their swords to save the hides of the very people who have brought them to the brink of destruction, or will they put their own careers first?

The truth of the matter is the only way they can save their party in the long run is to revolt against the suicide bomber leadership in Congress and the White House.

Ofcourse she doesn't!

The only reason the House Bill barely passed was due to the fact that it had the Stupack amendment.

Without it, this Bill has no chance of passing.

Well she sees the end. Her only play is the hail Mary of convincing some no votes to switch to yes. There is no "bank" of yes votes that voted no last time. I can imagine the twice daily phone calls she has with Rahm..."Yea nice Bar Mitzvah boy, you screwed the pooch with that stunt with Massa, now you cant very well come strolling the halls here in the Rayburn building. Tell your boss he is going down with me. I did hear Clinton made out pretty well pillaging the White House when he left, maybe he can much a bundle on EBay."

Foxnews just played Stupack saying that Waxman aditted abortion would be covered and that is what they want in it. Stupack told him they had already voted on that and they (prolifers) had won. They just mentioned that Weiner is now saying he is a no vote too? Probably not liberal enough for him though?
