There *might* be a silver lining here. It’s possible, although by no means certain, that the SCOTUS would overturn such a bill due to being passed unconstitutionally...

True SCOTUS could overturn this if it gets passed. Given that there is no love lost between Zero and SCOTUS(even less now that Zero slapped them around during the so-called State of the Union speech)they may be even more inclined to overturn it.

I agree. If they did not vote on a bill, why would anyone follow it? Most judges would through the entire case out stating that it is not law and still a bill. Most states would not enforce it and tell the feds to ________.

The good news I am seeing from this is that this is proof that they don’t have the votes in the House to pass this thing.
