Hey, eating lobster and oysters is against OT law, but thankfully Jesus came and now I am free to chow down. I am thinking maybe the oral traditions of this tribe got diluted and warped over the millenia.

As an aside, there were jews in Peking hundreds of years ago. They looked asian!

Unless you were born Jewish, you have always been free to “chow down.” The Law never has applied to gentiles.
