Hey folks, this is my first time doing this.

I saw this poll online and was surprised that it had drawn enough attention from Democrats to put one of the 2 Dems in the lead (Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann).

Please Freep this poll for Lt. Gov. Duke Aiona, the Republican running for Governor, who is a solid conservative for family values, limited government, fiscal discipline and integrity of office.

Learn more about him at DukeAiona.com (very good biographical video on that site), but most importantly - please log in and vote for him! Thanks ahead of time

Alright, well I helped you out. I doubt many people are following “The Fish” for their politics though, LOL.

What are the poll numbers looking like in Hawaii right now? From what I see, a early 2010 poll from the national polling firm Mason-Dixon Polling & Research found that Hannemann takes 41 percent to Aiona’s 35 percent, with 24 percent undecided.

Aiona is great, but I’m afraid Hawaii is still pretty much a Democrats state. IMO, Hannemman is more difficult to beat, because if he’s the nominee then all pacific islanders (and some Hawaiians) will vote for him. Also, compare to English Professor Abercrombie, Hannemman is not that liberal that makes some in the middle at least are not afraid of him. Aiona was household name when he was still a judge, but for some reasons, Lingle didn’t really give him much opportunities to make him popular.
