“I know Senator McCain. I think his experience in the military, in the Senate, and the wisdom and judgment he has developed over a lifetime is something we need in the Senate."

So why did Romney attack McCain during his 2008 campaign for the GOP nomination?  He ripped McCain day in and day out on issues ranging from illegal immigration, the bailout, and his out of control temper.  It got so bad that McCain referred to Romney as a pig when asked about the latest attack by Romney.

Well, he was a bit more subtle in his response. He said, “never get into a wrestling match with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it." When asked if he had compared Romney to a pig, he replied clenching his teeth, holding his temper, “that was just a philosophical approach to politics, hehe.” And now Romney has done and 180 degree reversal on McCain.  I guess Romney is just being Romney, as usual.

And by the way, JD isn't new to the scene – he has served in the US House for 12 years.

Yea politics makes strand bedfellows. Hillary as Obama's Sec of State being the biggest recently.

There just looks like a cabal brewing with McCain, Romney, Palin and Brown. Somehow I don't think it's Huckabee that they will be rallying around for 2012.
