I don't know about that. I mean, by that -- that the Bible says that about 2/3 of the Jews will be killed by the end of the Tribulation... so those particular ones won't be protected (at least not from being killed).

I'm not sure how the Jews are going to be able to tell if they are in the 2/3 who are killed or the 1/3 who are still alive when the Messiah of Israel returns to the earth.

I say that because it seems that Jerusalem has to be intact and habitable during the Tribulation. If they detonated a nuke of sufficient size over Tel Aviv (the most likely place for a target), radiation would kill much of the Israeli population. Jerusalem might become uninhabitable.
