First of all, in case you don't already know, I am a Palin supporter.

Two, the rate at which freepers, who are supposed to be some of the most intelligent and reasonable politicos on the net, believe a confirmed LEFTIST source, astounds me.

I never thought I'd see freepers give the benefit of the doubt to a leftist, agenda-driven blogger over a conservative.

Shame on you and the rest who choose to believe an unsubstantiated claim.

Of course, I'm sure if Sarah said this and clarifies the remarks, it won't be enough for you and your friends.

What bugs me is those that will say, "See? She's politically stupid for even having to go back and clarify."

These same people fail to realize, apparently, that it wasn't what Sarah said, it was how it was SPUN and selectively edited that made it a lie.

You can edit Scripture to make Satan look like the good guy. Doesn't make it FACT.

The quote attributed to her makes sense, and there’s nothing bad about it. Why do you want to assume that the news media is misreporting the quote? Palin could easily twitter if the quote was wrong, and she hasn’t.

Yes, the media twists her words, but that’s no reason to deny she said them, or to call her stupid for saying them.

I’m a Palin supporter, and I don’t know why you think she needs to “clarify her remarks”. They were perfectly acceptable remarks, and no clarification is needed.
