Not the brightest thing to say given today’s climate.

Tina Fey actually said this on SNL.

It wasn't Sarah Palin.

I think it is ironic because the Canadians are coming over here to use our health care system

I call B.S.

When did Sarah Palin's family ever live near the Canadian border? (Other than when she was an infant?)

The “source” for this is a wack job Leftist blogger at the Washington Independent. I suggest people wait and see if there are any credible back up sources for this claim or if it is just the latest Leftist lie du jour.

Because she’s not the Second Conservative Coming, which a bunch of people around here seem to think she is.

The vocal opponent of health care reform in the U.S. steered largely clear of the topic except to reveal a tidbit about her life growing up not far from Whitehorse.
"We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada," she said. "And I think now, isn't that ironic." Many in attendance said seeing Palin was like catching a glimpse of a celebrity.
Stephanie Hansen, 18, who wore a pin with Palin's face, could barely contain her excitement. She gushed that she felt out of place among the much older audience.
"I love it, I'm really glad that I came. It was really enlightening."

How old was she when this supposedly happened? How long as Canada had their socialized medicine?
