I agree. Mark Steyn probably would have said it was impossible for a Republican to win the Senate in Massachusetts. But it happened. Mark Steyn probably would have said it was impossible for a guy like Obama to be elected but he was. Mark Steyn has been flat out wrong about a lot of things. Yes he's more right than wrong and he's one of my favorite people around BUT he's not incapable of error. He's been wrong before.

Steyn knows because he knows how the pubbies have behaved for 80 years. They whine about the entitlement program but never eliminate the program.

That is the sorry situation. Steyn doesn’t hope it will happen he is just calling out what will happen of this bill is passed.

I will go one step further, if this bill is passed within 8 years the private health ins system will be destroyed and we will have single payer.

The pubbies won’t stop it. The pols change the bureaucracies stay.
