Decide for yourselves what this means. Either Obama’s own caucus no longer takes him seriously or he’s so removed from the political realities of this vote in the House that he’s placing literally impossible demands on them. “Both” is an acceptable answer.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said the Democrats would like to get a final vote by Congress’ Easter break, which begins March 29. But he also said “the world doesn’t fall apart” if that timeline isn’t met — a nod to the many missed deadlines that have characterized the health overhaul effort so far.
Democratic leaders are contending with a host of undecided lawmakers who want to see the fine print before making a decision. Hoyer said final language and a cost estimate should come back from the Congressional Budget Office by the end of next week.
“At this point in time we don’t have a bill,” Hoyer said. “It’s a little difficult to count votes if you don’t have a bill.”…
“Every legislative lift is a heavy lift around here,” Pelosi said.

Let these representatives unequivocally know that we are not going to put up with them voting in favor of this government take over of our health care system, not yesterday, not today, not tomorrow, and not ever!

Well he and his backers (socialists one and all) have had 40 years to dumb down the education system. The time was ripe for them to push this socialist/quasi-communist government on us rubes. Being that so many Americans TAKE from their next door neighbors that which they have not produced, but believe is or should be theirs, why the followers of Alinsky felt they could push for a complete and total capitulation of the freedoms our Constitution gave us. We may be rubes, buddy, but we also bleed red, white and blue and are PROUD to be FREE Americans. The Alinskyites/Socialist/Communists haven’t figured out how to remove the American blood flowing through our veins. May they never prevail.
This time, don’t let the union thugs beat on Americans who oppose the health care bill! Lets kick some asses at these Town-hall meetings and let those political officials who are supposed to be representing our interests that we are not going to take no more $hit from them period!!!

Exactly, Obama is an aggravating symptom of the problem, not the problem itself. Things haven’t gone to hell over the last two or three years; they’ve been going that way for (at least) 40. It’s now becoming more obvious to more people.
