Intellectual and moral relativism—which is defined as a rejection of absolute truth and morality—is central to and inextricable from leftist thinking.

Of course leftists proceed as though they have access to truth, just as the python spends most of his existence pretending to be a tree branch.

But leftists also reject, as a fundamental part of their ideology, the notion of accountability (this is really part of moral relativism). So they have no problem denying truth from one side of their mouth while laying claim to it from the other. (You should know about this—you do it all the time in your altruistically motivated posts against the eligibility argument.)

But my point is that the serpent will never be a tree. He neither takes root nor gathers sunlight in high branches. He will never know the permanence and security of solid ground nor will he ever enjoy the ultimate warmth and light shining down upon his boughs.

Moral relativism ensnares the whose human race. Do not forget, the sun is made to shine upon the good and bad the same. Sometime people move between the two.
